Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media Geometry Fun Activity berciri konservasi dengan menggunakan model ADDIE dan mengetahui kelayakan media Geometry Fun Activity. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Proses pengembangan media Geometry Fun Activity meliputi tahap: (1) analisis, (2) desain, (3) pengembangan, (4) implementasi, (5) evaluasi. Validasi media dilakukan oleh seorang ahli media dan ahli materi. Media yang dihasilkan diujicobakan kepada 30 orang mahasiswa semester 4 Jurusan Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Semarang (Jurusan PGSD FIP UNNES). Hasil pengembangan media Geometry Fun Activity ini berupa media latihan soal yang dikombinasikan dengan gambar yang bertema konservasi khususnya konservasi etika seni dan budaya. Hasil uji kelayakan menunjukkan bahwa media layak digunakan terbukti dengan validasi ahli media mendapatkan nilai 3,6 yang artinya masuk dalam kategori layak digunakan, ahli materi mendapatkan nilai 3,4 masuk dalam kategori layak digunakan tanpa revisi, dan respon positif mahasiswa sebanyak 95,2% menyatakan media layak digunakan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu referensi untuk melengkapi pembelajaran geometri, dapat memberikan sumbangan bagi pengembangan media geometri.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pengembangan bahan ilmu sosial dan budaya dasar dengan mengunakan aplikasi emindmap memanfaatkan groupware berbasis android untuk meningkatkan motivasi mahasiswa, 2) menyusun bahan ajar ilmu sosial dan budaya dasar dengan menggunakan aplikasi emindmaps memanfaatkan groupware berbasis android untuk meningkatkan motivasi mahasiswa, 3) mendesiminasi desain produk (desain aplikasi emindmap) pada prodi – prodi sevisi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development/ RD). Model pengembangan media dilakukan berdasarkan enam tahap, yaitu konsep (concept), perencanaan (design), pengumpulan bahan (material collecting), pembuatan (assembly), percobaan (testing) dan distribusi (distribution). Penelitian ini menghasilkan bahan ajar berupa aplikasi emindmaps berbasis android yang dapat meningkatkan motivasi mahasiswa. Data yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini yaitu data hasil validasi materi yaitu 81,1% , kategori layak dengan predikat bagus; dan hasil validasi media yaitu 80,83% , kategori layak dengan predikat bagus.

Abstract

Case-based learning (CBL) is a newer modality of teaching healthcare, combining medical theory and practices. Many researchs reported effectivity of CBL to improve student-centered learning. The aim of this study is to evaluate how CBL improved students’ clinical reasoning compared with other method such as problem-based learning. An interventional research involved 4th grade medical students receiving PBL and CBL methods supervised by a tutor or instructure. An alternative method combining CBL and structured role play (in an Integrated-Patient Management method) also performed using clinical scenario with medical practice setting. The result showed that student received CBL had better clinical reasoning indicated from better miniquizz result compared with PBL students (p < 0,05, Mann Whitney U test. Students exposed with CBL had final MCQ and essay exam grade compared with unexposed students. Students exposed with CBL also had better clinical skill indicated from Objective Structure Clinical Examination (OSCE) result (p < 0,05, independent t test). Students’ acceptance level on CBL method is 79, 4%. It is concluded that compared with PBL, CBL is more effective in improved students’ performance, learning outcomes and clinical reasoning and also had high acceptance among medical students.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate character values that can be applied on students through congkak game as it is used as a media of mathematics learning. This study used qualitative and quantitative combination or (Exploratory mixed methods designs). The first phase of qualitative data was taken through in-depth interviews to 5 selected informants using purposive sampling technique. The first phase of the data retrieval was intended to gather information related to the content of character values contained in  congkak game. All data interviews were analyzed thematically using NVivo qualitative analysis tool 10. Then, the second phase of the data was taken using a questionnaire to 46 students who were studying in grade V and VI in an elementary school (SD). The second phase of the data retrieval was intended to support the first phase of the research results, the entire data of the second phase analyzed descriptively using quantitative analysis tools SPSS Windows 18.0. Overall, the results of the two phases indicated that there were nine character values contained in the game congkak once it was used as a medium of mathematics learning. The nine-character values were honesty, discipline, hard working, creativity, curiosity, independent, communicativeness, responsibility and appreciation for achievements. The results also proved that the use of instructional media such as traditional game congkak can be used as an intermediary that can be used by teachers in mathematics learning process. In addition, this study shows that even though congkak game belongs to a traditional game among middle societies, in fact, there were characters values as it was investigated scientifically.

Abstract

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has an influence overall areas, as well as on learning. Learning is required to adjust the development of ICT to make learning more effective and dynamic. Constraints faced in the implementation of ICT. It is the underlying to do research related to the teacher's understanding of technology. This study will analyze the profile of technological understanding of juniorhigh school mathematics teachers using TPACK framework. Furthermore, age factor, length of teaching, and gender are analyzed its effect on TPACK using analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results of this study are six validated TPACK components, obtained five components namely TK, CK, PCK, TPTCK, TPCK. Based on the TPACK framework of junior high school mathematics teachers in Banten obtained the highest average score on the CK component. Age factor, duration of teaching and gender have no significant effect or only small effect on the five components of TPACK

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap signifikansi hubungan antara perilaku positif dalam praktikum (X1)dan keterlaksanaan bimbingan karir (X2)secara simultan terhadap kesiapan berkarir di dunia industri dan besar kontribusinya. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 157 siswa dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner tertutup yang telah memenuhi kriteria validitas dan reliabilitas. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi ganda. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara (X1) dan (X2) terhadap (Y) secara simultan dengan nilai psig   <  pstandart yaitu 0,000 < 0,05.  Besarnya kontribusi (X1) dan (X2) terhadap (Y) sebesar 14,00% dengan persamaan garis regresi Y= 12,496 + 0,276X1 + 0,359X2.

Abstract

Abstract.  Improving the quality of learning is one of the basic, improvement of education as a whole. Efforts to improve the quality of education into an inte­grated part of efforts to improve human quality, both aspects of ability, per­sonality, and responsibility. One to improve the quality of the learning process is by using an effective media, attract students to learn and explain thoroughly the material to be delivered so that in the end can improve student learning outcomes.The design of this research is Quasi-Experimental Design with Research model of Nonequivalent Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. The sample of the re­search are 60 students selected by Sample Random Sampling.  Data analysis was done with parametric statistic with the prerequisite test included a normality test, homogeneity test, then tested different and influence test.The result showed that the average score of the control group was 70.61, for the experimental group the average score was 74.81. There is the difference of result of student learning between the control group and experiment group after learning using visual media using Lectora application and result of influence test show result of t-count 3,621> t-table equal to 2,052 with it can be concluded that there the influence of learning result after given treatment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian evaluasi program yang bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat kesesuaian penyelenggaraan pendidikan inklusi berbasis nilai-nilai pancasila di SD Negeri Taman Sari Kota Yogyakarta. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan angket yang disusun berbasis nilai-nilai Pancasila, khususnya sila pertama, kedua, dan kelima. Objek penelitian ini adalah guru dan kepala sekolah. Penelitian mengkaji tiga bagian dalam evaluasi program yaitu input, proses, dan output sekolah dalam menyelenggarakan pendidikan inklusi yang disesuaikan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Hasil penelitian melalui angket yang diberikan kepada kepala sekolah maupun guru menunjukkan bahwa input, proses dan output berada dalam kategori sangat baik yaitu ≥ 85%. Oleh karena itu, SD Negeri Taman Sari Kota Yogyakarta layak dikatakan sebagai sekolah penyelenggara Pendidikan inklusi berbasis Nilai-nilai Pancasila.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan desain pembelajaran ELPSA dalam model pembelajaran VAK terhadap hasil belajar kimia siswa pada pokok bahasan larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Samarinda. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling sehingga diperoleh sampel penelitian yaitu siswa kelas X MIPA 1 dan X MIPA 2 dengan masing-masing kelas berjumlah 36 siswa. Kelas X MIPA 2 merupakan kelas yang menggunakan desain pembelajaran ELPSA dalam model pembelajaran VAK sedangkan kelas X MIPA 1 menggunakan model pembelajaran VAK. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan desain pembelajaran ELPSA dalam model pembelajaran VAK lebih baik daripada rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran VAK. Rata-rata nilai hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan desain pembelajaran ELPSA dalam model VAK adalah 81,06 dan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran VAK adalah 78,32. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan menggunakan uji t, diperoleh t hitung = 2,68 dan t tabel = 1,99 pada taraf signifikan 5%. Karena t hitung > t tabel, maka H diterima sehingga terdapat pengaruh penggunaan desain pembelajaran ELPSA dalam model pembelajaran VAK terhadap hasil belajar kimia siswa pada pokok bahasan larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Samarinda.

Abstract

Multicultural education is still very foreign to elementary school teachers and students. Need innovation in introducing multicultural education to elementary school students through educational story book. The aims of this study are: 1) developing educational story book based on tolerance character, 2) knowing the feasibility of the educational story book based on experts’ judgment, 3) knowing the responses of teachers and students after using educational story book. The development procedure adopted Borg and Gall model. Data collection techniques were questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis techniques was descriptive statistics and qualitative analysis of interactive model. Small group trial subject used six students in the 5th grade of Wirosaban Elementary School. While the large group trial used 20 students in the 5th grade of Pakel Elementary School. The results of the study are educational story book with the title "Berbeda tapi Sama (Divers but the Same)". The mean score of the experts’ assessment are from the learning material is 86,53, language expert is 87,5, and media expert is 88,33. The teacher response in the small group trial is 98,33 and the students’ response  is 99,58. The teacher's response in the large group trial is 81,66 and the students response is 97,87. All assessments from experts, teachers, and students are in a very good category. It can be concluded that educational story book with the title "Berbeda tapi Sama " is very feasible to be used to introduce multicultural education in elementary school students.
